A special thanks to Linton Park & Hugo Rust Primary School
Once again, the combined efforts of the Linton Park and Hugo Rust Primary School fundraising initiative, have made a generous donation to the critical plight of rhino conservation.
Donating over R180 000 this year to this worthy cause, Linton Park contributed R140 000 by setting aside R1 per bottle of wine sold and Hugo Rust Primary School added a further R40 079 from various creative and fun school activities including vibrant hand-produced rhino artwork and icons. Located in the tiny town of Wellington, it is remarkable that the students, parents and teachers have banded together to raise R80 000 to date for the sustainability of this endangered animal.
This fundraising collaboration began in 2016 with R55 000 and over the past four years, an impressive total of R466 505 has been donated to date. Linton Park fully support environmental and natural conservation and as such the protection of the rhino, a part of South Africa’s heritage.
Showing unwavering support of the champions of the rhino cause and their invaluable contribution, this generous donation was handed to Les Carlisle, Rhinos Without Borders Project Manager.
Thank you so much to Linton Park and Hugo Rust Primary School, your efforts and incredible generosity are able to make an incredible impact for the Rhinos Without Borders initiative.
